Performing a test with Accu-Chek Active is fast and easy. First insert a test strip until it clicks into place with the orange pad facing up and the arrow pointing toward the meter.

Check that the code number displayed matches the code number on the vial of strips you are using. Once the flashing blood drop symbol appears, you have two minutes to apply the drop of blood. Use an Accu-Chek Softclix lancet device to obtain a drop of blood. Apply one drop of blood to the center of the square orange pad. Wait for result. Accu-Chek Active also offers the convenience of dosing the strip outside the meter.
